  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) announces creation of the first Ceramic Filter Simulation and Analysis (CFSA) software, a mathematical model of ceramic membrane filters that can be used in process optimization over a range of filtration regimes (from MF to NF). Similar to simulation and analysis software available for traditional polymeric membranes (such as ROSA or Winflows), AEI’s CFSA allows it to predict performance of ceramic membrane filter designs under varying feed and operational conditions. AEI has collected continuous operational data from scores of its installed systems over the last few years as part of its on-going big data project, allowing testing and optimization of numerous computer simulation models. The result is a comprehensive model that can predict ceramic filter performance across a wide variety of industries. As additional systems are added to AEI's data collection, further refinement of the models can be expected.
  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) and inopor GmbH announce their new 61 channel ceramic element with an increase of 7.5% in surface area over comparable elements. Contact AEI for pricing and availability.
  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) adds new Analytical and Forensic Technologies to it’s tool kit.

  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has put in operation at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in W. LA their newest Cera-Pure system design. This VA health care laundry in W. LA processes over 25K lbs of laundry per day, with the ceramic filter system recovering over 60% of the water for reuse in the plant. Coupled with TEA’s steamless tunnel technology, this system saves the VA over $150K/year in recovered water and energy.
  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has put in operation at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Biloxi, MS, their newest Cera-Pure system design. This VA health care laundry in Biloxi is anticipated to process over 10M lbs of laundry per year, with the ceramic filter system recovering over 60% of the water for reuse in the plant. Coupled with TEA’s steamless tunnel technology, this system is anticipated to save the VA over $150K/year in recovered water and energy.
  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has started up their newest and latest ceramic filter system project at Plymate, Inc., in Shelbyville, IN. Plymate is an industrial laundry handling uniforms, shop towels, walk-off mats, etc.; the plant’s wastewater is very high in O&G. The TEA Cera-Pure system installed there features AEI’s Generation III™ control system. The ceramic filter system recovers ~ 60% of the water for reuse in the plant, and also concentrates the day’s total wastewater production to less than 2% of its original volume for subsequent post-processing/disposal.
  • Aqua Engineers, Inc. (AEI) and has put in operation at Crown Linen LLC their latest ceramic filter system design, featuring AEII’s Generation III control system. This hospitality laundry in Ft. Myers will recover over 60% of its water for reuse in the plant. Processing over 20K lbs of laundry per day, this system is anticipated to save Crown Linen nearly $100K/year in recovered water and energy.
  • Crown Linen LLC opens its 4th plant in the Florida market and has trusted TEA and AEI with installation of their newest ceramic filter system. This system is capable of delivering over 100 gpm of purified water back to the plant for reuse in all plant operation.
